travelers stories
"I stayed at The Compass McMinnville with a friend and we had the most wonderful experience. This boutique inn is tucked right into Oregon wine country and feels like the perfect blend of cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Our rooms were beautiful, the shared spaces were inviting. They go above and beyond with all the little touches—snacks, wine, and that feeling that someone truly thought of everything. We left already talking about when we could come back."

"Our BUY OUT was amazing!
I hosted 10 ladies for a girls weekend and the Compass Inn was perfect. The rooms were spacious and luxurious - all of my guests wanted to stay longer to soak in the tubs and enjoy the common spaces. We gathered together for dinner and fire side chats. At no point did the group feel crowded. At one point we had 13 gathered in the living room and it was comfortable and cozy / intimate. We loved walking to aerial yoga, great dinners, shopping and spa services. This place is a MUST. The owner/mgr was available for any needs and was very accommodating our requests."

"There's a good reason there are all these 5 star reviews...because more stars arent available.
So much thought went into the design of this property, tasteful and functional. The bed was comfortable (and I have chronic back issues so this alone would have had me leaning toward 5 stars). The room itself was perfection (nice space for clothes, clothing steamer and hair dryer, hot pot, complementary teas, coffees and snacks, nice (large) refrigerator which already had a welcome bottle of wine and seltzers)... And the bathroom was an exquisite design... Very nice common space which includes a Nespresso, water and ice dispenser, and more seltzers. There is wine and merchandise for purchase (in case you forgot a cap or sweatshirt or want a treasured remembrance). And 1st Street is relatively quiet and sets you up for easy walk to all that 3rd street offers. Also great hub for wine tasting and hiking. I really can't use enough superlatives and will be back.
If you are reading this, you can stop here because you have found your home in McMinnville."
