CHECK-IN: 3:30pm 

before your stay you will receive a text and an email with your unique door codes - they are not active until check-in. the front door and your room will have the same code.

EARLY CHECK-IN: 

if you want to check in early - text us and we will let you know if/when your room will be ready. if its ready early we will update your codes so you can access the property. 

LATE CHECK-IN: 

if you need to arrive after 10pm - no worries! we just ask that you be mindful of other guests and keep noise to a minimum. 

CHECK-OUT: 11am  

it's easy! just grab your stuff, close the door and head out - we will take care of the rest.

DISTANCE FROM MAJOR CITIES: 

we are about 1 hour from portland, 3 hours from seattle and 35 min from salem. 

LYFT/UBER:

unfortunately, the willamette valley does not have ample local uber/lyft service so please plan according. 

AIRPORT TRANSFERS:

you can use uber/lyft to and from the compass, but be sure to schedule your return in advance, not right before you need to leave.

RENTING A CAR:

renting a car is one of the best options as it will give you flexibility to explore the area!

our outdoor sauna and cold plunge are open daily from 7:30 am – 9:00 pm for travelers to relax, recharge, and reset.

our sauna is booked in 90 minute private session using a QR code in each suite or using the link in your confirmation email. 

sandals and a spa towel are provided, but don’t forget to bring your swimsuit to enjoy the full experience. 

use of both the sauna and cold plunge is at your own discretion.

CLEANING:

we are a sustainability-focused inn, as such, we clean and sanitize guest suites after check-out. 

IF YOU NEED SOMETHING:

given we aren't around all the time, we want to make sure you have access to anything extra you might need during your visit. as such we have an easy to access closet full of extra linens, towels, toilet paper etc. 

IF THINGS GET MESSY:

we also have a laundry hamper, dish trays and central trash/recycling if you want to self-refresh your room mid-stay.

ever been to a hip hostel in europe – you know that buzzy lobby vibe with everyone hanging out, or working, or relaxing, or reading, all while making new friends? that’s the vibe we want to inspire! hang out, grab a bottle of wine and chill!

NEED TO WORK? 

grab the desk in the wine library or cozy up to one of our banquets in the dining room – just be mindful of your fellow travelers (please use headphones and lower voices for conference calls). we have super fast wifi everywhere!

for your safety and to protect the property we have cameras in all the common areas. 

we also have smoke detectors in every room - they are sensitive and as we are a non-smoking hotel please do not smoke or vape inside (if you do, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee). 

while we do not have one on property, there are several nearby:
